Social Media and Marketing Intern (Virtual)

This position is a volunteer position within 22 Saves Hockey Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving veterans.

This position will serve as a virtual Social Media and Marketing Intern; assisting with creating social media content for the Foundation. Under the supervision and direction of the marketing team, the incumbent will research, write and post relevant content on social media platforms and assist in the marketing of 22 Saves Hockey Foundation programs, activities and services through the distribution of information on social media platforms to various audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Foundation’s marketing team to create online marketing campaigns for social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
  • Ensure content is targeting intended audiences
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Requirements: • Experience using social medial platforms • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills • Ability to think creatively • Excellent computer skills  • Exceptional initiative • Passion for assisting in issues facing military veterans
